GUARANTEED, SOCKETED 1995 2G EPROM ECU'S FOR $250 WITH CHIP PURCHASE!
Now available! My '95 thru '99 Second Generation EPROM's are now ready!
Stage 2 $125
Stage 2 With socketed 1995 ECU $375
Adjust Rev Limit, Eliminate Fuelcut, 2-step speed sensor-based rev limiter, and Factory Boost gauge conversion.
Also now included is "Octane Reset", A/C Cutout at 5000 rpm, and a SELECTABLE STUTTERBOX RPM! For FWD cars, I recommend you get my 3750/4000/4240/4500/4750 launch rpm. For AWD cars, I usually recommend 4500/4750/5000/5250/5500 rpm launches. Any of these 5 stutterbox rpm's can be selected by simply tapping the gas pedal before you start the car. The boost gauge will indicate which of the 5 rev limiters you have selected.
Stage 3 $150
Stage 3 With socketed 1995 ECU $400
Stage 2 Mods PLUS Special compensation for Fuel Injector Size, Deadtime Compensation, MAS changes / Compensation, and Idle speed changes
Remember, to use these chips you MUST have an EPROM-type 1995 Turbo ECU.
Complete EPROM-type 1995 ECU's are also available, socketed and ready to go, for an additional $250, sold ONLY with my EPROM's!
So, what other options and features are available? We are developing new features all the time, and any of the following are available at no extra charge:
1. Phantom knock fix - noisy lifters or other rattles setting off your knock sensor? This mod makes the ECU ignore any knock when not under boost.
2. No-Lift-to-Shift - I don't normally supply this feature to the 2G guys, as many of them don't trust their shifting or transmission, but it is available on request. You will also need to wire the supplied clutchwire to pin #91 of the ECU.
3. Higher idle speed - this may be just what you need to get good vacuum and a decent idle with those big cams.
4. Fuelcut removal - I recommend removing this "brick wall" that you hit as soon as you start modding.
5. Airflow cap removal - The factory ECU has an airflow cap. Unlike fuelcut, the car will continue to run above this "cap", but the ECU refuses to acknowledge any more than X airflow. So, the Duty Cycle plateaus, and the car leans out! Not a good thing! I recommend complete removal.
6. Shift MIL - The check engine light can be programmed to light at whatever rpm you like.
7. Knock MIL - The Check engine light can be programmed to come on at whatever knocksum you ask for.
8. Cam/CAS Inversion - This feature is necessary when using the 1995 ECU on a 1997+ car, or if you have done a 6-bolt swap. The 97+ and 1G sensors put out an inverted CAS signal, which changes the injector firing order. This CAS Inversion fixes the injector issue, but you still need to swap plug wires 1&2, and 3&4 if you have a 1997+ car, or have done a 1G 6-bolt swap.
9. Global Fuel and deadtime correction - I can make almost any injector idle and run like stock, without affecting your emissions.
10. Open-Loop Fuel or Timing map changes - If you are running 93 octane or better fuel, you can probably benefit by leaning the A/F ratio out to a more efficient mixture, and adding some timing. I have several maps available, and can also do custom maps for race fuels.
11. Rev limiters - You can specify the MAIN rev limiter, as well as any of the 5-stutterbox settings. The stock rev limiter is 7500 rpm.
12. Octane reset - This feature will reset the longterm octane value each time you start the car, to give you full timing advance.
13. Boost Control Solenoid disable - The factory code will lower the boost if it detects a lot of knock. This feature will remove that.
14. Knocksum on the factory boost gauge - Face it, the factory boost gauge is worthless, and you can't log knock on your OBDII scanner. This feature allows you to see 7 knocksum per division of the boost gauge.
15. A/C Cutout - Lose that last stoplight confrontation because you forgot to turn off the A/C? This feature will automatically turn off the A/C compressor when you hit 5000 rpm, and keep it off for a few seconds after you drop back below 5000 rpm.
16. Random Misfire MIL removal - I'm now removing the Random Misfire MIL check on all chips I ship. This is mainly an issue for those of you that have done 6-bolt swaps, or are running a lightened flywheel. Say GOODBYE to the Random Misfire MIL!!
17. MIL Bug fix. The 1995 code, which you will now be using, has a bug which tells the OBDII scanner that the MIL light is ON, even when it is OFF. Thanks to Thomas Dorris this is FIXED!
I also have a few features that are available for $25 more, on request:
1. Nitrous Control on FPR solenoid line
2. Cyclone intake control on FPR solenoid line
